Manage resource files

Intended Audience:  Administrators

Update resource files to ensure your learners have the most recent files. Delete resources that contain outdated or no longer used materials.

Update resource files

Resources are updated by removing an existing file from a current resource, and uploading a new file in its place. To update a resource, first delete the old file:

  1. Navigate to Library from your primary navigation, and then Resources from the secondary navigation.
  2. Click the title of the resource to update.
  3. Click the X next to the file name in the Resource file

The following screenshot shows an example PDF within a resource file.

The file is deleted, and you can upload a new file. To upload a new file, click Upload File to upload a new resource file.

Note: Previously shared Shareable URLs for this resource will now point to this new resource.

Delete resources

You can remove resources by deleting the resource entirely, instead of removing the resource file. To delete a resource:

  1. Navigate to Library from your primary navigation, and then Resources from the secondary navigation.
  2. Click the title of the resource to update.
  3. Click Delete from the action menu.
  4. A confirmation message appears. Confirm by selecting Yes, or cancel by selecting No.

When a resource is deleted, previously shared URLs now show a Resource not available message.
