  7. Save to finish the first question.
  8. Repeat the last 2 steps until your question pool is finished.
Note: For the Order list question type, the correct answer is the order you enter the choices in the question. Make sure your list is in the correct order when you write the question.

Adding and removing questions from the pool

Safety Made Simple handles adding and deleting questions differently from editing existing questions.

Editing individual questions like correcting typos, or changing the range of answers, does not require a new course version.

Taking out (deleting) and putting in (adding new) questions changes the whole pool. To get the latest version of the question pool to appear in a course, you must create a new version of the course, remove the old version of the question pool from the exam module and then add the new version and publish.

Warning: This change could affect multiple exams, and many learners. Deleting a question removes its answer from the question pool.

If you need to delete a question entirely:

·         create a copy of the pool

·         make the required changes, including deletions, to the copied pool

·         re-version the course, and change to the new version of the question pool

·         preview the exam before publishing

These steps preserve the existing pool of questions and answers and give you an updated question pool for your course.

  1. From main navigation go to
  2. From secondary navigation choose Question Pools > your question pool.
  3. To add a question to the pool select the question type, and enter the question and answer content.
  4. To remove a question from the pool select the question and from More(aka 3-dot menu) > Delete.
  5. Save to finish.
