Disabling a user (inactivating)

Disabling a user (inactivating)

Intended Audience:  Administrators, Managers

The instructions for disabling a user are the same for both Administrators and Managers.
  • Navigate to Users in your portal.
  • Open the user profile of the person to be disabled.
  • Slide the Login Enabled? slider to the off position.  Note: the position shown below is in the on position.
  • Click Save in the lower right corner.

Users may easily be reactivated when returning from a leave of absence or in the case of a seasonal worker. Following this procedure will ensure there is no loss of training records.

IMPORTANT:  IT IS RECOMMENDED NEVER TO DELETE USERS AS ALL TRAINING HISTORY IS ALSO DELETED AND MAY BE IRRECOVERABLE!
