Setup dashboard and catalog banners

Setup dashboard and catalog banners

Intended Audience:  Administrators

Summary

Choose from 3 types of banners in your portal's dashboard and catalog, to welcome your learners, promote courses, or add reminders.

Add multimedia or image banners to support your brand, share messages about coming courses, and provide call to action links.

On the dashboard, the banners rotate every 7 seconds.

On the internal catalog, you can set how often the banners change, from 5 to 30 second intervals.

NotesNote: The banner controls for your dashboard and your internal catalog are separate. You can use different images and messages in each area.

The dashboard is the default view for learners when they log in.

The internal catalog is available from learners' main navigation.

When you upload images you can crop and resize them to fit the dimensions provided, and add alt-text to ensure you meet accessibility standards.
