Courses Not Playing in my LMS

The courses are loaded into UKG and play on the desktop web version but when they are launched in the UKG Learning Pro app I get the below error. What do I need to do?

 

If you are having trouble playing Safety Made Simple courses in the UKG (UltiPro) app, contact support@safetymadesimple.com to assist with the issue. We can make a configuration change on our hosting service to allow for “cookie-less” content serving, which should alleviate the issue.

Traditionally, cookies have been used to determine if a learner is authorized to view course content. The way this works is that when a learner launches a course, the authorization cookies are set in the browser. The cookies are then used any time the browser requests a piece of content to verify that the browser is allowed to see it.


If there are any issues during the authentication process, the learner will receive an error message like the one above.

There are certain situations where the use of cookies won't work, or isn't the most viable solution to deliver content seamlessly and error-free. With recent updates to iOS, for instance, the use of third-party cookies has become more and more difficult. Therefore, delivering your content via an app or browser on a mobile device is tricky since you would have to tell each user to enable the use of third-party cookies on their device. Using cookieless content auth (which we’ve now turned on for Star Of The West) allows your users to launch your content without having to change any of the default settings.
