Brand your portal

Brand your portal

Intended Audience:  Administrators

Summary

Add your company's brand to your portal: set colors, add logos and icons, and provide a custom footer.

Branding basics

To brand your LearnUpon portal:

  1. From the primary navigation menu, select Settings > My Portal > Branding.
  2. Edit the portal to set portal colorslogos and icons, and a portal footer.
  3. After changing each setting, select Save.

Portal colors

Set your portal colors with the following 3 settings:

  • Header Color
  • Background Color
  • Link Color

NotesNote: You cannot use white as your background color. The label text and cards in the application are white: a white background makes these features invisible.

  1. In the Portal Colors card, for each color, enter a hex code or an RGB code.
  2. Save to finish.

 Alternately, to select colors visually:

  1. Select the color sample to open the Color Picker.
  2. Select and drag the ring in the picker to select a color.
  3. Save to finish.

The following screenshot shows Portal Colors with the color picker in use.

Logos and icons

Upload your company logo to appear in the application header.

Set your logo and icons with the following 3 settings:

  • Header Logo: maximum height of 72 pixels
  • Squared Logo: square format, height of 72 pixels, for favicon, and for any whitelabelled footer
  • Mobile App Logo: for iOS mobile application

IdeaTip: To view your squared logo in the application, upload a logo and resize your browser screen.

  1. In the Logos & Icons card, select Upload Logo
  2. Select a file from your drive and select Open. The application opens the file in the cropping tool, with the maximum image size featured.
  3. Use the pointer to resize the cropped area, or drag the focus to recenter the cropped area.
  4. In Alternative text, enter a short description of the image.
Optional: select Change image to upload a different image, without closing the cropping tool.
  5. Select to finish.

Info
Optional: for light-colored backgrounds, toggle Show Background Overlay.

Portal footer

Add a link to your portal's footer to direct users to another site, for example, to read terms and conditions.

  1. In Link Location, enter the URL.
  2. In Link Title, enter a title for the link.
  3. Save to finish.
